Factory Reset FS IP PoE Camera IPC-304-8M-B if the Access Hatch is Damaged

This is how you factory reset a FS.com / Fiber Store PoE IP Camera that does not have a reset button, for example the IPC-304-8M-B.

Step 1: Remove Front Lens Cover From Housing

Here is a picture of the lens cover removed and the internal components removed from the housing as well. A total of 7 screws were removed.

Step 2: Short the Reset holes

The camera must be powered on!

I used a paper clip to short the reset conductors, hold the paper clip or other metallic object there for 30 seconds.

Why not use the Hatch?

The screws that hold the hatch closed are completely stripped on this unit. So the only way to access the reset switch, is to remove all of the guts from the housing.
